Please introduce your company.
Moen started as a motion control company in 2018 and is currently developing and manufacturing industrial automation machines. It specializes in synchronous control, which is considered the most difficult technology among motion controls, and succeeded in the first test operation of the CI Flexo Preprinter printer in Korea, which had failed several times in the past, and has built about 3 systems to date.
Based on this, it has acquired unwinder and rewinder control technologies, which are essential technologies for industrial machines, and is growing into a company with the technology to apply to any change because it has its own original technology.
I am curious about the strengths and business direction compared to other companies.
Moen's biggest advantage is that it can respond to everything from high-end to low-end technologies. Also, when inquiring about control technology from similar companies, it provides engineering along with technical suggestions, so it can be seen as closer to providing technology compared to other companies. Since it has many partner companies, it is trying to build a network to share technology with them and advance new technologies.
Another business area that is being prepared is a machine management program called the ‘machine black box’. It is a program that automatically monitors the operation of machines in real time, like a black box installed in a vehicle, and it helps analyze the cause of an accident when a machine breaks down and an accident occurs. It is being prepared with the goal of opening in the first half of next year. In the future, the business will be further expanded to the fields of high-performance semiconductor equipment and production facility automation.
What are your future goals?
Moen will first focus on nurturing engineers. Small businesses tend to experience a shortage of manpower, so to solve this, we want to support them to the greatest extent possible in terms of salary and treatment. In addition, our short-term goal is to create a corporate culture where engineers can exchange technology and receive training in a horizontal atmosphere, thereby reducing the turnover rate as much as possible.
In the long term, we want to be remembered as a ‘responsible company’ by our customers and partners. Most of Moen’s customers are manufacturing companies, and when a machine breaks down, production is immediately affected. Our ultimate goal is to provide quick responses and thorough aftercare in such cases, and become a responsible and trustworthy company for our customers.
